Corporate Meetings with Hot Lunches serving Hot Dawgs!

Attention: Admins, Office Managers, and Corporate meeting planners,

What a better way to add a fun and inexpensive lunch to the menu than to have it catered with hot dogs? Most recently one of the Polished Affairs corporate clients hired us to do plan and coordinate their corporate luncheon. We thought of sandwiches at first. While tasty and delish, its pretty much the same old thing over and over again. Most recently we came across a local resturant in Loganville Georgia that sells delicious gourmet hot dogs with all of the trimmings. Yum! We decided to check it out. Because as you know, we don’t put our name behind just any caterer, vendor, or merchant. We only work with and contract with the best. That is because our clientele demands it.

While there we fell in love with the atmosphere of the restaurant as well the owners Danny & Sherry! The place was immaculate, very well lit, and decorated with mostly Georgia’s home college and highschool teams.

The menu was extensive! Everything you could think of was on a hot dog! From the “Hail Mary” which had housemade chili, purple slaw, shredded cheese, chopped onions, yellow mustard, and oyster crackers to the “Coin Flip” a bare naked dog. And let me just say, the Dawg’s we had were barking!

Ceremony Music for your big day!

Classical music. Brides have been walking down the aisle to compositions like Pachelbel’s Canon in D major and Purcell’s “Trumpet Voluntary” for ages, and classical music is still the popular choice.

Cultural taste can be incorporated by using traditional musical instruments like an Indian Sitar, Greek Mandolin, or Scottish Iris bagpipes! How creative and a wonderful way of personalizing your wonderful day.

Religious attributes can also be used as a bride may enter to hymns or other sacred music and you it doesn’t have to be played on an organ. If you want to have a traditional processional ask your musician to play a strictly instrumental piece and then save the choir (and all that jubilation) for your recessional.

Contemporary pieces for some brides are preferred. I have brides who wish to walk in on a sound track that came straight from their IPod play-list! If you are having a band you may consider asking a few key members to play at the ceremony as well.

One of the first questions I get from my newly affianced couples is: “What should we do for the centerpieces?” Well, I tell them, “anything you want.” Lets start with the container if there is one to be used. Containers can be vital to a centerpiece. Centerpieces aren’t limited to flowers. You can always use candles. An excellent choice for an additional decor element. Be daring and try the centerpiece away from the center of the table! How exciting would that be? I think alot. Dangling different heights and shapes as well. A mix of tall and low centerpieces can be gorgeous and eye catching. We would like to bring to you the vase glossary. Please share with us how you have used any one of these types of vases.

Bubble Vase

A popular choice for casual receptions, this vase has a spherical shape. A line of them along a rectangular banquet table can look quite lovely, mo matter the formality.

Cube Vase

This modern shape can hold its own in the middle of a table, but a few small ones around a tall, slim vase are ultrachic.

Pilsner Vase

Named for the narrow bottomed, wide mouthed beer glass it resemebles this vase usual holds flowers loosely packed in a round shape.

Cylinder Vase

The tube like shape is ideal for showing off submerged blooms. Gorgeous!

Pedestal Vase

Midway between tall and short, this vase features a shape similar to a tropy’s. It looks great with flowers and greenery dripping down its sides.
